Can I use HourTide without Pro?
Yes. Manual shift tracking, editable timesheets, and break records are available without Pro.
What does HourTide Pro include?
HourTide Pro unlocks automatic background logging, Home Screen widgets, and estimated earnings from your hourly wage.
Does HourTide need to be open all day?
No. With HourTide Pro, a saved workplace, and Always Location allowed, iOS can wake the app when you arrive or leave the saved area.
Can I edit a shift if automatic tracking gets it wrong?
Yes. You can adjust shift start and end times, add a break, add notes, or delete a shift if it was only a test.
How do breaks work?
Breaks are manual so you stay in control. Add one after a shift, use quick buttons such as 15m or 30m, or adjust minute by minute.
Why is automatic logging not starting?
Check that HourTide Pro is active, a workplace is saved, Automatic logging is on, and iOS has granted Always Location permission for HourTide.
Does HourTide track my exact route?
No. HourTide is designed around the saved workplace area, not route tracking. It needs location permission to react to arrival and leaving events.
Will there be a widget?
Yes. HourTide Pro includes widgets for a quick view of today, week, and month totals without opening the app.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions and trials are handled by Apple. You can manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings.
